Update
I know it's been a while, I have been extremely busy the last few weeks. Papers to write, drawings to complete, internship to nail down. I have an interview on Wednesday with Abeln and Associates in Overland Park. I hope all goes well, they do retail architecture which is a big interest for me. The e-mail from the school said they required someone proficient in AutoCAD...could I be anymore perfect for the job? 'Cuz ya know, I can pretty much draw anything in AutoCAD and, ya know, some things without. -(Movie reference) I have been working a ton. The money is really great but this is the first time since I started that I have felt the squeeze of working and going to school. I love Home Depot, it's a great place to work, but they own you. I'm just trying not to let school take a back seat. I have WAAAAAY more invested in school.
For those of you who don't know my grandpa passed away shortly after my last post. I was home for about a week for the funeral and playing catch up when I got back was NOT fun. I know I want to post something about my grandpa but for now it's going to have to wait. I'll get to it.
Founder's day is this weekend (80 Years) and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the alumni. It should be a good time, great food, and I'm really looking forward to it. Spring Getaway is next weekend and Alicia, Bo, Collin and I will be sharing a cabin at Missouri's Table Rock Lake for the weekend. It will be a much needed rest. Collin and I turned in our lease for next year, haven't yet heard back from PMS on whether or not we got the place yet, hopefully we'll know sometime today. I have mixed emotions on moving out of the house but I'm really looking forward to living with Collin next year. Oh, oh, I almost forgot. I got invited to my very first ever bachelor party yesterday. I guess it's a sign that I'm getting old, but hey, I'll be having my own within a year! That's about it for know, I'll try to re-surface when school calms down a bit, if it calms down.
